The Epsilon Alpha chapter of the International Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta is devoted to enriching and developing the lives of young men as they progress through their careers at the University of Alberta. By living up to our precepts of Knowledge, Friendship, Service, Morality, and Excellence we aim to create a better community both within our university as well as our city.

As students, our job is to get the best education that we can. Consequently, the fraternity places a very high emphasis on academic success. In order to ensure that our members are getting the most out of their university educations, we hold two study nights per week, provide an exam bank with previous midterm and final examinations, and have a designated study space built into our house.

Because a comprehensive education requires more than can be taught in a classroom, Phi Gamma Delta engages in many community service and philanthropy activities. Every year our organization raises money for the Red Cross, donates blood through Canadian Blood Services, and gives our time at a local homeless shelter among other things. Through our service to those around us, we aim to reinforce the ideals of giving back to our community and helping those in need.

Phi Gamma Delta adheres to a very strict non-haising policy. Because we are developping a culture of friendship and trust, we encourage all new members to report any instances where they felt hazed to our International Hazing Hotline at 1-888-NOT-HAZE.

Through membership in the fraternity, young men gain more than just a new network of friends. Our organization provides opportunities in leadership, athletics, service, and a suppport network for students as they transition to university.
